A "plus" sign indicates that an item is close to the next highest condition. When only one condition is listed, then the box and contents are in the same condition. Boxed items are listed as "code/code" where the first code represents the box, and the second code describes the contents.Spp is better off on witch elves or blitzers though. If you want spp with him you'll probably have to pass to him and score twice, or make a pass and hope for mvp. Sidestep and diving tackle are to make the assassin useful, and block and dodge are to keep him alive longer. Normals he can either get blodge, but sidestep would also be a good option if you want to harass ball carriers earlier. On level ups, doubles he gets multi-block to stab 2 people at once. If you have 2 dice on a dwarf feel free to smack him upside the head with your boot instead. The 1 die is too risky unless you also have block. I personally never put an assassin next to a piece with block unless I'm using that blitz with a stab. After all it doesn't proc sidestep since there is no moving. ![]() Stab provides a reasonable way to take down av 7 blodgers or blodgesteppers. Stick him next to a ball carrier or catcher, though his shadowing will probably prove useless against actual catchers which almost all have at least 2 more mv than him. More importantly, they have stab which is a (supposedly) risk free way to get injury rolls. The assassin shines vs lizards in BB2, their shadowing doesn't proc often vs the skinks but if they try to make use of their stunty ability and dodge through their tackle zones you'll very likely get extra dodge attempts out of it, or you might even ruin enemy positioning by shadowing into place and marking someone that was providing an assist. If you're going to use them make sure that you can protect them, too much av 7 on a dark elf team and something squishy is getting demolished on a regular basis. If you do you should look for sidestep blodge. ![]() ![]() IMO if you don't get a mv increase(for shadowing) or doubles(for multiblock) in the first 2 skills you fire him and try again. No, seriously, if you roll double you get multiblock. But if you are playing in a min max environment you might not want shadowing.ĭodge/sidestep can also help you get near a ball carrier so those are really viable options as well. Unless you are playing in a min/max environment you will play against more bruiser teams than finesse teams so 6mv shadowing can actually turn out pretty awesome. Dwarves, orcs, undead, chaos, khemri, nurgle all have a low overall movement speed. I say on average because of all the low movement bruiser teams you will play against. Mv6 isn't great with shadowing, but it is still a strong choice because you will still have a 50/50 shot on average of following a receiver. So you want to keep him close to the receiver. You don't want to blitz with him, more blitz people into him for a stabbitystabstab. There is nothing better than stabbing a 6str big guy to death, except maybe shanking a ball carrying blodger. You won't get to use it too often, probably, but it's amazing when you can.Īssassins role is to go after tough to knock down targets. For doubles, you gotta go Multiblock, since it works with Stab to let you shank multiple targets. +Movement is great, +Agility is better on another piece, but I'd still take it, same with +Strength. I actually like getting Side Step before Block on them, since you won't be rolling many normal blocks, and Side Step helps you stay close for stabby times. If the receiver is still in your tackle zone at the start of your turn, then you shank 'em.įor levels, Dodge and Side Step are great on normals. Then, if they try to dodge they have an extra roll to make, (albeit usually not a difficult one Shadowing isn't particularly good on MV6) and if they spend their blitz to get rid of him, that's a blitz that isn't going to your more useful players. I don't like to blitz with them, rather I just use him to mark players. Now, if you just like having an assassin around (and really, who doesn't) then your best bet, IMO, is using him to go after receivers, and similar low armor units with dodge/blodge. ![]() If you want efficiency, the answer is: fire him and get a better player.
